I have loved your song writting since i was a kid. Just a quick question because i like to know the inner thoughts of people. Have you had any personal experiences in your life that relate to any song you have written? Have you connected from your heart to what was being written on paper? Emotionally or otherwise? P.S. I was at that Duo show at the Wildhorse Saloon & you only screwed up twice. You didn’t forget the words you just started singing the wrong verse. It was still a great show & I got to meet you backstage, but I was so drunk I don’t remember much of it.

As far as acting you forgot to mention “Coach of the Year,” a TV movie from the early ’80′s in which you DID have a small roll. Your character’s name was Richard Marx. Why didn’t you mention that? Unless you want to forget about it.

Hey Richard. Give holla out to us here in Crystal Lake, IL. I’m 30 and been a fan since I got your first album on cassatte tape. Been a fan of EVERYTHING since. I actually went to Vegas for the first time a couple years ago just to see you, so thanks for giving me an excuse to go there. Great city. You seem like you’re just a normal guy. My question is, when you first hit it big, did you have any problems keeping yourself from getting caught up in the “rock n roll” lifestyle? Thanks Richard!! Go Cubs!!
